Dominicus is located in the eastern part of the Dominican Republic off the southern coast in the Bayahibe area. Unlike many other resorts, Dominicus is very quiet. But that doesn't mean it's not lively. On a nice evening stroll, you're sure to choose one of the many restaurants for a nice meal, or buy a souvenir in the various shops. You can also take advantage of one of the massages or fitness classes on offer. You can also go on various excursions. One of the most popular is a visit to the island of Saona, which lies south of Domnicus and is famous for being the location of the filming of Survivor Czech-Slovakia. Those who miss the livelier nightlife can move to neighbouring Bayahibe. Either by walking along the sea, or you can hop on a Guagua (a mini-bus that will stop anywhere), a very popular and cheap mode of transport.
